ALBAWABA - Reality TV personality Kim Kardashian has disclosed that she plans to give their 11-year-old eldest daughter, North West, her first engagement ring from Kanye West.

The statement was made during an episode of "The Kardashians" in which Kim recalled her favorite jewelry items from her time attending her sister Khloé Kardashian's wedding in India.

Kim stated that she intends to give North the original engagement ring that Kanye gave her when the time is appropriate, and she still has it.

"North was present when I received my ring, which makes it quite meaningful to me, and I want her to have it.  Kim added, "I even have a photo of her holding it when she was a baby."

During Kim's pregnancy with North, Kanye proposed to her with a 15-carat cushion-cut diamond ring.  Even more valuable was the 20-carat emerald-cut diamond ring he later gave her in 2016.

But in 2016, at Paris Fashion Week, Kim was seized at gunpoint in the notorious Paris robbery, and the second ring was taken.  Jewelry valued at more than $10 million was lost in the heist.

In retrospect, Kim revealed that she had purposefully left her first engagement ring at home, preventing it from being stolen.

Kim Kardashian and Kanye West were married in 2014, but in February 2021, Kim filed for divorce, ending their marriage.  In November 2022, their divorce was formalized.

Kim's choice to give North the ring gives their family's history a sentimental touch and guarantees that a memorable item from her past will always be a part of it.
