In complete secrecy, prominent Egyptian actress Laila Elwi married Egyptian businessman Mansour Al Jamal, who resides in Belgium. Mansour is the uncle of Khadija, wife of Jamal Mubarak, son of Egyptian President Husni Mubarak.

The marriage occurred after the couple had met through a mutual friend and a love relationship sparked ending in marriage. Laila had strongly attempted to keep the marriage a secret from the media but failed at doing so.

It was said that Laila had feared people would criticize her for marrying Mansour since he is 64 years old and was previously married two times. She also feared that people would say that she married him for his money.

Mansour is said to be extremely wealthy and sources revealed that he owns a Yacht that is worth over 10 million Euros, and owns different companies, in addition to his bank account, which is said to be huge.

Laila had traveled with her husband to Belgium and will be spending a few days there, after which she will return to Egypt to resume work on her upcoming projects. Mansour is to remain in Belgium, since it is his permanent residence.
