Egyptian actress Laila Olwi is gearing up for her latest film Nasmah Fi Mahab al Rih (Waft in Blowing Wind) which is about a very fat girl dreaming to become elegant like Marline Monroe, which causes her a psychological complex.

Olwi revealed her new film’s project during a conference held at Queens Club in a Cairo hotel and said, “she was gearing up for the film to be directed by Mohammed Khan. The film depicts a very fat girl who faces problems with the society due to her excessive obesity but she dreams to become like Marline Monroe, the fact that causes her a psychological complex.”

The actress elaborated in talking about herself in front of a crowed of the club’s lady members and said, “I neglected myself over the past two years, which led to significant increase in my weight. I decided to go on diet immediately and went to a specialized slimming center in Cairo. The center offered me three meals daily from its own restaurant and I did not prepare any meals at home. I continued like that for four months and used to pay 1200 pounds every 14 days. After I finished the program I managed to reduce my weight by 13 kilograms over 7 months.”

“True love really exists between me and my mother, sister and people but it has not yet surfaced with a man despite my experiences. I adore children and I am now looking after an orphan whom I am very happy with. For me true love reaches the level of faith between the two sides,” added Olwi -- Albawaba.com
