Layl series officially stops on episode 33

ALBAWABA - Layl series, which is taken from the Turkish drama "Safirin Kizi" [The Ambassador's Daughter], was temporarly frozeen on episode number 33, Al Bawaba confirmed after contacting MBC Shahid.

Layl series was halted ahead of the upcoming Ramadan season, and it will resume airing after the end of the holy month.

After episode number 34 was not released as scheduled on Wednesday, Feb.11, Al Bawaba team contacted MBC Shahid for a statement. The Saudi platform confirmed that Layl series officially stopped on episode number 33, which was aired on Tuesday, Feb. 10.

Has Layl series officially stopped?

MBC Shahid responded to the question about whether Layl series stopped or no, by saying, "Hello. We are delighted by your interest and communication with us, and we greatly appreciate your following of the series 'Layl'."

It added, "We would like to clarify that the series consists of 90 episodes, and the first part has aired up to episode 33. The second part, consisting of 57 episodes, will resume airing after the end of the holy month of Ramadan."

"We would be delighted if you continued to follow the Ramadan season's programs and shared your opinion with us. About Layl series:

The series tells the love story of an ambassador's daughter and a poor man, separated by circumstances, before they reunite years later, and their love is reborn.

The series, which is taken from the Turkish drama, will resume airing after the end of Ramadan. The MBC Shahid platform released the first episode of Layl series on January 4th at 8 p.m. local time in Saudi Arabia. Since then, the show has been airing from Sunday to Thursday each day at the same time.
