She started out as a Disney star but now is better known for erratic behavior and drug rehab after drug rehab. Lindsay Lohan has quite the international reputation for being somewhat unstable, which keeps her in the news more often than not. Her personal and professional issues might maintain her household name status more than her career successes, but if she knows who you are, then you are still probably kind of a big deal.
Our region's diciest diva drags drama around with her wherever she goes too, albeit without narcotics (as far as we know). Perhaps their common fascination with creating controversy is what has connected our own Haifa Wehbe to the West's Lindsay Lohan.
On Twitter yesterday, Lindsay shared with the world of her followers, "just discovered @HaifaWehbe love her music... can't wait to meet her one day! xo."
Never one to miss a good publicity stunt or turn a compliment away at the door, Haifa Tweeted back, "Thats very sweet of you Lindsay. Happy to hear from you & of course would love to meet you soon one day."
International actor Adam Sabbagh, who has spent part of his life in Lebanon, was tagged in Lindsay's post to Haifa. Following up to the gals' Tweets, he wrote, "Can't wait for it to happen @lindsaylohan @haifawehbe #DivasGettingTogether @ Hollywood."
