Actress Liqa Swidan singed a new contract last week with the music production company “Mazika,” owned by the producer Muhsin Jaber to produce a new musical album called “Farhit Hayati” (The Happiness of My Life).
According to the London daily Elaph, the new album will be next month and it will include 10 songs. Liqa will be working with a number of poets and composers like Atef Thabit, Jamal Bakhit, Noor Abdullah, Amir Taymah, Nader Noor, Karim Abed Al Wahab, Muhammad Rahim and Sharif Taj.
Liqa’s husband, the famous Egyptian actor Hussein Fahmi was present for the signing of the new contract. Fahmi said that he is happy for his wife to have joined one of the biggest music production companies in the Arab World, a company that will bring out his wife’s musical talent to her fans.
Liqa will play the role of an English doctor in her new television drama series “Qatel Bila Ajer” (Unpaid Murder). The new drama series also start her husband Hussein Fahmi and famous Egyptian actors Farouq Al Fishawi, Ibrahim Fadli and Mina Shalabi. “Qatel Bila Ajer” is created by Mustafa Muharam and directed by Rabab Hussein.
Liqa and Fahmi both play English doctors that are in love with each other.
