Emerging musicians have an exciting opportunity to have their tracks featured on a compilation vinyl being produced by Axe.
The men’s grooming brand has launched its ‘Bring the Quiet’ campaign that will showcase the original music of 10 winners, in addition to the chance to attend a three-day workshop with international producer Youth.
The opportunity is open to musicians – individuals or bands – and across all genres, who are based in the UAE, Kuwait, Qatar, Bahrain and Oman. The campaign has collaborated with some of the biggest names in the region, including The Wanton Bishops, Hamdan Al Abri, El Morabba3 and Smokingroove, who will all be on hand to mentor contestants.
Winners will be decided by a combination of public votes and a judging panel consisting of Paul Kelly, co-founder of music site TripleW, and Satyen Choksi, founder of OHM Records. Submissions will be accepted until June 7, and Axe will announce the winners on June 14.
