Lebanese superstars Elissa and Diana Haddad backed an online campaign which called for world famous footballer Cristiano Ronaldo to meet a little boy named Haidar, 3.
Social media activists launched the campaign under the Twitter hashtag #CristianoMeetHaidar.
Haidar was tragically orphaned after the Bourj el Barajneh suburb of Beirut - where he and his family live - was targeted by two suicide bomb attacks this week.
Likewise heartbroken by Haidar's story, Lebanese reporter Rana Harbi attempted to contact Real Madrid in the vain hope that the youngster could meet his idol.

But the Spanish giants surprised Rana by getting in touch with Haidar and arranging for him to meet Ronaldo, reported The Daily Mirror.

The Portuguese superstar will soon be meeting his football-crazed fan, who is currently recovering in hospital after the deadly blast.
