According to TMZ, the Grammy-winning musician Lizzo has reportedly agreed to purchase the luxurious mansion in the Hollywood Hills that belonged to actor Jeremy Renner for an astounding price of $12.4 million.
Lizzo purchased the mansion with six bedrooms and nine bathrooms at the end of the previous month, according to sources with direct knowledge of the situation. The house is ideal for her, especially because it comes with a recording studio, which is a major selling point for its owners.
Despite the announcement that Renner had sold the house, the buyer's identity remained unknown. Renner made a tidy profit after purchasing the estate in 2012 for $4 million and investing an additional $5.5 million in renovations, despite the mansion's initial listing for $13 million in August.
There is little doubt that the Laurel Canyon oasis holds special meaning for Renner because it was the location where he recuperated following the near-fatal snowplow accident that occurred in Reno, Nevada, in the year 2023.
The 8,000-square-foot mid-century Zen retreat features a gourmet kitchen, a magnificent master suite with views of the canyon, Fleetwood doors that allow for seamless indoor/outdoor living, and a resort-style pool with waterfalls; therefore, it was without a doubt an excellent location for Renner to heal.
