Kim Kardashian has managed to make a 17-year-old boy from Turkey famous after mis-tagging him on Twitter.
Teenager Mert Alas just happens to share the same name as one of Kim's favourite photographers, 45-year-old Mert also from Turkey, who the selfie obsessive is good friends with and often poses alongside.
Social media wizard Kim sometimes posts photos to her social media accounts at the same time and while @mertalas is her photographer friend on Instagram - over on Twitter it's a different story as the teenager has the handle.
So instead she's been name checking the Turkish youngster instead of her fashion pal.
The first time it happened Mert replied in Turkish saying: "I love you"
Before adding in English: "Thank you for everything"
Thank you for everything @KimKardashian— Mert alas (@mertalas) September 1, 2015
But after it kept happening, he actually became a full blown celebrity in his own right, with the story ending up in the newspaper. Showing off his new found fame on Twitter, Mert posed with his press clippings.
Kim isn't the only one to make the mistake - Miley Cyrus did it too when Mert photographed her.
In an interview with milliyet.com he had admitted he was "happy" about the mistake though was a little disappointed he got "no reply" for Kim when he tweeted her back.
He also revealed the mistake had improved his Twitter followers going from 200 to 600 after Miley's tweet and adding 65 in three days when the Keeping Up With The Kardashians star tagged him.
We really hope Kim gives him a genuine shot out soon!
