Lutfi Bushnaq Performs Tunisian Nights in Cairo

The Opera House in Cairo has witnessed over the past few days an artistic Tunisian night performed by the renowned Tunisian singer Lutfi Bushnaq and a cultural feature at the Higher Council for Culture. 

The two events were carried out under the auspices of the Egyptian Minister of Culture Farouq Hosni and his Tunisian counterpart Abdel Baqi al Hermasi. 

The International Cooperation Department Director at the Tunisian Ministry of Culture, al Munsef al Shatti told the daily al Gomhuria, “on the first days we organized a musical feature and a theatrical show while the second part included conferences and formation fairs and films. For its part, Egypt exhibited formation fairs and screened films in which stars Yahya al Fakhrani and Laila Olwi played starring roles in addition to traditional artifacts and Egyptian music. 

“During our current visit we requested the Egyptian officials for he play El Nas Elli Fi al Talet (People on the Third Floor). This is in addition to our participation in the activities of the Demo Theater Festival, Alexandria Beniali and Cairo International Festival for Cinema and Formation Art. As for Cartage Festival, Maestro Salim Sahab led the Tunisian musical troupe while Maestro Abdel Rahman al Ayyadi led the Egyptian musical troupe,” added Shatti --
