Maali Zayed Prefers to Play Strong Intelligent Woman

By now everyone knows that the best thing about Maali Zayed, on a long list of very good things, is her bright, incredibly instinctive, impulsive, dangerous in terms of some of her choices personality, according Arab-celebs.com. 

Zayed started her career in a string of supporting roles in movies like Wa Daa Al Omr Ya Waladi and in the TV series Eilet Al Doughri. She began to map out her own unique territory in film. Zayed had remarkable roles in TV series and on the big screen, like Bein Al Quassrein and Quasr Al Shawq, written by Nagib Mahfouz.  

Her career choices have provided her with success beyond the craze her sitcom has generated. She is of rare Egyptian beauty, with her warm brown eyes, lustrous dark hair, and olive skin complexion.  

Zayed graduated from the faculty of fine arts, painting department, then applied to the faculty of theater arts, but she was not able to continue as she began her acting career.  

Although she stopped painting, she still has her very special dream of holding her own exhibition. She works on preparing her paintings during the few months off she can grab in between her acting engagements. 

“I go for complex roles, I like to present the middle class in the Egyptian society, so I do have a big amount of publicity. Certainly, I would prefer playing the role of a strong, intelligent woman who proves herself in the society. This, in reality, reflects my real personality,” Zayed told Arab-celebs.com.
