Lebanese artist Madeleine Tabar is back on the set of her new film Mushaghibah Fil Aryaf (Rioter in the Countryside), which she left temporarily to appear in the second part of the Zizinya series, filling for colleague and compatriot Eman.
Tabar flew this week to Ghardaka for filming of the outdoor scenes at one of the local tourist resorts. The film script was written by Saad Abdulla, and Abdel Hadi Taha is providing direction.
“I play the role of a renowned artist who wins a golden prize, but she faces a burglary by an armed ring. I become involved in a brawl with the thugs at one of the tourist resorts, until I manage to recover what has been stolen from me,” Tabar told the London-based Al Sharq Al Awsat newspaer.
“I’ll begin shooting another film under the direction of Ali Bader Khan soon. The film was underway before I became busy shooting 17 episodes of the third part of the Zizinya series,” Tabar added - Albawaba.com
