As her own way of promoting Sayidaty Magazine’s “No to Obesity” campaign, Lebanese singer Madeline Matar joined the list of celebs vowing to lose eight kilos in two months. That’s an ambitious target y’all! But she won’t be doing it without a little help from Sayidaty’s own nutritionist; Madeline received a visit by Nancy Habiqa, who will guide Mads through her kilo-shedding journey with a strict and healthy diet to follow.

Unlike most celebs, Madeline said that she’s not ashamed of revealing her real weight to the world, or the number of kgs she needs to sweat off. You go girl! According to Sayidaty.net, she added that “obesity is the illness of our era, and every woman seeks to look her best, especially celebs who are constantly in the spotlight.”

But is she really that chubby? Matar said that people who meet her in real life for the first time are always shocked at how skinnier she is than on TV. “The camera adds at least five kilos,” she commented.

Although Madeline admitted to have gained four extra kgs this winter, she said that it’s essential to lose them all by the time summer lands at our doorsteps. But what could have triggered this  weight-gain? Mads admitted that she’s a sucker for desserts and red meat, something that her doctors warned her against.

It’s no doubt that Madeline will reach her eight-kilo target, as she’s a self-proclaimed high-achiever. “When I put a certain goal in my mind I go over and beyond to achieve it,” she said.
