Lebanese songstress Madeline Tabr, who is currently starring in part II of the popular Egyptian series, Zizinia has hindered filming because of her insistence on going to Lebanon to buy a couple of dresses she wants to wear for her role.

According to Al Masa’a newspaper, Tabr had adamantly refused the costumes presented to her by the film’s production crew.

The Egyptian daily said that the director of the series, Jamal Abdul Hamid has sent a memo to the head of the production company explaining the reason behind the delay.

Meanwhile, despite Tabr’s behavior, production companies are racing for the finish line in order to complete their respective shows before Ramadan starts.

Those having to wait for Tabr’s return, include mega stars Yihya Al Fakharani, Hala Sudqi and Ahmad Bdeir

Tabr’s role in the series is that of princess Silvana, in place of (also Lebanese) actress, Iman, also known as Liz Sarkisian, who played the role in the first part. – Albawaba.com.
