Just weeks after packing in her career, reports have emerged that legendary Egyptian actress Madiha Yousri has been admitted to hospital.
The star decided to step out of the spotlight earlier this year, saying she couldn't hack the lifestyle of the rich and famous anymore. Since then Madiha has reportedly suffered from stress that has caused her blood pressure and heart rate to rocket.
Many have put Madiha's ill heath down to the unstable conditions in Egypt with rumors surfacing that doctors have forbidden the actress from watching news and political talk shows, or reading the paper.
Her hoards of fans across Egypt are wishing the starlet a quick recovery.
