Madonna has a number one album, with Madame X, and a big tour on the docket.
So it makes perfect sense that the pop superstar would continue her promotional onslaught on Thursday by posting a number of pictures and quick video clips taken from her rehearsals.

What doesn't make perfect sense: the phone number the Material Girl shared in the caption of a boomerang video of her rubbing her tired feet.
'Madame ❌ needs a foot massage................. call this number 1-888-623-2639,' she wrote, with the hashtags '#madamex #worldpridenyc #stonewall50'
It appeared the phone number, which was posted around 6:15 p.m. PT, was part of a marketing company that didn't seem to have any direct connection to Madonna.
But then, about 90 minutes later, the caption was edited and had the last number '9' taken out of it.
At this point, it's all still a mystery as to the meaning of the phone number and subsequent edit.
And the promo push didn't there.
Madonna also gave her 13.9 million Instagram followers a glimpse of her in action at rehearsals.
In one snap, she's standing on top of a platform holding a microphone dressed in her Madame X garb, that included a black sheer design, corset, fishnets and her X eye-patch.
There was a closeup picture of a microphone sitting on her lap with her upper legs and fishnet stocking in full view.
Both of them had the hashtags '#madamex and #worldpridenyc', which are nods to her new album and the annual LGBT pride celebration in New York June 26-30, respectively.
The legendary Queen Of Pop also showed her support and love for the LGBTQ community by wearing a t-shirt with the gay pride flag on the front.
'Getting ready for the weekend.................. Madame ❌,' she wrote in the caption.
There was also another quick boomerang video that showed at least eight women from the waist down, all dressed in black thigh-high jackets, stocking and pumps with the headline: 'Madame ❌ is a spy in the house of love...'
For her upcoming tour, Madonna opted for intimacy and will be playing smaller venues, and in and many cases, multiple nights in the same city.
'I like the idea of staying in one place and people coming to me. I also like the idea of being in a small theater,' she revealed in an interview with Variety.
The tour kicks off September 12, with 17 shows at BAM Howard Gilman Opera House in Brooklyn. The US trek also includes 11 at The Wiltern in LA and six at The Chicago Theatre, among others, before the leg wraps up in Miami on December 19.
The tour picks back up in Europe with a show in Lisbon, Portugal January 16, 2020.
