Mahmoud Abdul Aziz to turn into the Egyptian Pharaoh

Egyptian prominent actor Mahmoud Abdul Aziz is scheduled to travel to London to meet Millionaire Mohammad Al Fayed, father of Dodi Al Fayed, to discuss specific details of the new TV drama series “Al Far’oun Al Masri” (the Egyptian Pharaoh). The new series tackles the story of Diana and Dodi Al Fayed, who was her lover and killed with her in the same car.  

 

According to the London based daily, Al Hayat, Mahmoud will travel with Egyptian scenarist Midhat Al Adel to negotiate with Mohammad the issues to be tackled in the drama. Director Majdi Abu Ameereh has agreed to direct the series, which tells the life story of Al Fayed in London.  

 

Majdi stressed that the work sessions for the drama have so far proved to be very fruitful and the essential outline for the series has been drawn out clearly and will feature how an Egyptian man was able to make a success of himself in the West despite all the hardships he encountered.  

 

Mohammad has so far been very cooperative with the crew of the series, giving them all the important details of his and his son’s life. Mohammad also requested that personal interviews with his close friends be held in order for the director and writer to create a clear picture of their lives.  

 

Prominent Egyptian actress Yusra has been nominated for the role of the late Princess Diana in the new drama alongside Mahmoud. The actress has given her initial acceptance for the role and will finalize her decision after the script is complete and she goes over her role carefully. –Albawaba.com
