Are Egyptian actress Mai Ezzidine and richy rich businessman Ahmed Abou Hashima an item?
So false!
We had our hopes up yesterday after social media users and entertainment tabloids insisted that the Egyptian pair were dating.
But Mai shut down those rumors by tweeting on Wednesday, "The news about me being in a relationship are untrue and repeated. #AsUsual."
Shame! It would have been interesting to see Mai tie the knot to Lebanese superstar Haifa Wehbe's ex-husband, but there's plenty more fish in the sea.
In other news, Mai announced on Twitter that she's finally agreed on a script for her upcoming TV drama, adding that she'll reveal the name of the series and its creator as soon as a contract has been signed.
As for Abou Hashima, he recently signed a mystery contract with football star Cristiano Ronaldo, which some suspect could be a deal for the footballer to appear in a TV series and film produced by Ahmed's production company, and to later be aired on his TV channel ONTV.
