Egyptian actress Mai Izz El Din has posted a video on one of her social network pages wishing her fans a happy Eid Al Adha holiday. In the video, Mai denied her intention to quit her acting career as was speculated by the media and said that what she had previously said about wanting to take a vacation was misinterpreted. She said that one day she will resign, but for now all she is doing is taking some time off to go on vacation within Egypt.
According to the Middle East news portal Elaph, Mai had recently posted a video expressing her gloomy state of mind and that she was incapable of continuing her work as she was in dire need of time off from the spotlight to relax and live her life as any normal person her age.
In addition, a photo was circulated on the internet of Mai in a wedding gown, making many assume she will soon announce her marriage. The actress also denied any intention of getting married in the current time and stressed that the photo was part of a photo shoot she took for one of the magazines that held an interview with her recently.
Mai revealed that once she returns from her vacation, she will begin reading a number of scenarios she was presented with to choose the best to star in as her next project.
