Mai Izziddin falls for a butcher

Young Egyptian actress Mai Izziddin has begun shooting the first scenes of her latest film “Boha” alongside Egyptian comedian-actor Mohammad Saed, who is considered to be the actor that is bringing in most profit in the past few years. In the new film, Mai plays the role of a common girl, which is a first for her, that falls in love with a young man named “Boha”, who comes to the city in search of a career and ends up working as a butcher.

 

According to the <?xml:namespace prefix = st1 ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:smarttags" />London base Elaph, the film will mark Mai’s return to the cinema after a long absence and after the failure of her last two film “Kimo Wantimo” and “Farah”. Actor Hassan Husni will also star alongside Mai and Rami Imam, son of comedian-actor Adel Imam in his third directing experience, will direct the film.

 

Recently, Mai was forced to put her career on hold to stand by the side of her ailing mother. Mai stressed that she will take off as long as needed until her mother regains her health and is able to walk again.

 

It was revealed that the actress’s mother had begun to feel pain in her feet that kept getting worse leading her to remain in bed unable to move around. Doctors have suggested that the mother be under strict supervision and refrain from any straining activity in order to heal in the fastest time possible.
