Majed al Mohandes made his way to fame from Iraq, and he gives props to Rotana Records. That’s why he is stoked to renew his contract with the record company for the eight year in a row, proving he's in like flynn.
"The collaboration with Rotana began in 2005, this collaboration has been based on trust and mutual respect. The fruit of this collaboration has had many continuous successes, may God allow us to continue this way, may we always meet the expectations of the fans whom I will never forget their support for me since the beginning," the smooth singer said.
The general manager of Rotana Records, Mr Salem Al Hindi, agreed that it’s been a successful collaboration, declaring that the renewal of the contract is a completion to the successful path that has united the artist with the company. He said that Majed is an artist in every sense of the word.
The peeps in the music biz sure know how to celebrate. Rotana organized a press conference as well as an after-party in the Pavilion Hotel in Burj Khalifa in Abu Dhabi.
Those who showed up to party with Majed included: Mr. Salem Al Hindi, Singer Hatem Al Iraqi, Shatha Hasoun, Haza'a Al Ra'esi, Fa'eq Al Hasan- poet, director and Al Muhandes's business manager- Ziyad Hamzah ( Director of Wanasa), Ali Al Otabi ( Director of Iraqi CBC), in addition to a number of journalists and guests.
