Lebanese diva Majida Al-Roumi is one of the brightest stars in Lebanon and one of the most impressive voices in the Arab world, referred to by many as the Princess of Romance. She grew up in a world full of music and nature, which made her become more sensitive and more eager to present real art that reflects her true talent.
Majida started her career with the song [Khidni Habibi] and since then a true profound love story started between Majida and her fans that became more eager to listen to her great works.
Majida was chosen as a UNICEF ambassador to help the needy and despite this responsibility and her career she is a great mom. Majida says that she finds herself in her house taking care of her children.
The whole generation is singing her hits and still anxiously waiting for her to give more. Among her best songs are [Kalimat, Ma3 Jarida, Tawk Alyasamin, Ma Hada Bi3abi Matra7ak Bi'albi] and many others.
Majida is currently trying anxiously to convince Lebanese legendary singer Fairouz to sing a duet together. Majida has sought Fairouz’s close contacts and requested that they try and convince her with idea.
Majida believes that a duet with Fairouz would definitely be a successful one with regards to the great popularity both singers hold around the Arab world and abroad. Majida is hopeful that attempts to convince Fairouz will succeed and the two can begin working on a song that will be one of the highlights of the music industry.
Majida is still suffering from pain in her leg after it was broken a month and a half ago. The singer had been wearing a cast ever since and once the doctors removed it they realized that her leg was not healed yet and so she had to wear a new cast. –Albawaba.com
