Manal Mohieddin to Participate in Int’l Harp Conference

The Egyptian senior harpist Manal Mohieddin will fly to Geneva at the beginning of June to participate in the 9th International Harp Conference, according to the daily al Gomhuria. 

The conference, which held every three years, is considered the largest meeting for the harpists all over the world. 

Mohieddin participated in the last harp conference three years ago. She achieved a great success and the audience and critics called her “the Egyptian harp ambassador.” 

Mohieddin performed a concert Monday evening at the Small Theater of the Egyptian Opera House, under the title “The Harp in the Baroque Age.” She performed a number of musical pieces by the most world famous composers – Albawaba.com
