ALBAWABA - Jujutsu Kaisen fans are in for a treat after the anime's official website revealed participating in Jump Festa 2025 to reportedly showcase more information about the show's upcoming third season, which will cover the "Culling Game" arc from its source material by Gege Akutami.
The official website notified fans to expect more information about Jujutsu Kaisen's TV anime during Jump Festa 2025, between Dec. 21, 2024, and Dec. 22, 2024. Unfortunately, the announcement also didn't reveal much, sparking debate among fans on social media about what Mappa is cooking in its studios.
Mappa to reveal new Jujutsu Kaisen Season 3 information soon
Culling Game's anime adaptation was revealed right after the end of the anime's second season. Mappa is also coming back to animate it.
Moreover, Mappa recently confirmed working on a two-hour Jujutsu Kaisen movie covering Gojo Saturo's past which is a compilation of the Hidden Inventory / Premature Death arcs. The movie is set to release in 2025.
Despite not giving an official release date for the anime's third season, some fans expressed their concern about a possible 2025 premiere as Mappa might rush its production, leading to a decrease in animation quality due to tight time constraints and horrible working conditions.
