When news came out this week that legendary Saudi songster, Mohammad Abdo, had proposed to upstart starlet, Mariam Hussein, fans were shocked. The Saudi star is at least three decades older than his fancy lady and, according to reports, he was dumped at the last minute in favor of a Qatari billionaire.
Now Abdo has put out a press release to say that not only did he not propose to Mariam but he doesn't even know who she is!
“I was shocked with the news and name for I have never before met the actress Mariam Hussein and there is absolutely nothing that ties me to her in any way," he wrote
So fans can breath a sigh of relief that their favorite Saudi singer isn't having a midlife crisis and hasn't been ditched at the altar for a richer man.
