Mark Hamill: Joe Biden is the best president we've ever had

ALBAWABA - Star Wars actor Mark Hamill is the talk of the internet after posting on his official X account (formerly known as Twitter) that Joe Biden is the best president of they've ever had causing quite a stir across the platform. 

Mark responded on Apr. 22, 2024, to a 2020 tweet made by none other than Joe Biden himself where he said "Donald Trump is the worst president we've ever had."

Hamill agreed with Joe's comment about Trump since he's vocal about supporting the current US president on his official X account which by the time of writing this article has a whopping 5.1 million followers. This comment received quite a bunch of opinions from users across the platform as they took to the comment section and said: 

"Raise your hand if you think Mark Hamill is a douchebag".

"Nobody believes you, we thought you were a better actor than this..."

"I mean Obama was pretty good. FDR had a run. Lincoln did some good work too but Biden is doing great work".

Some even took shots about the recent Star Wars movies and said, "The Last Jedi was the best Star Wars film," sarcastically mocking the franchise after Disney took over. 

Mark is no stranger to controversy

Mark Hamill who is best known for his role as Luke Skywalker from the Star Wars saga, also sided with Israel amid the ongoing Israeli aggression on Gaza that resulted in the killing of more than 34,000 Palestinians since Oct. 7, 2023, according to the ministry of health in the Strip, which caused controversy on his X (formerly known as Twitter) post where he said:

"America stands with Israel ✊ #ALWAYS"

Many people opposed the actor's choice with comments including:

"I stand with all innocent civilians regardless of their nationality."

"I don't like war"

"Feel like Kylo in this clip, reading this tweet tbh"

"Long live The Empire!"
