In memory of the legendary Lebanese singer Melhem Barakat, who passed away on Friday, fellow Lebanese star Melhem Zein released a new single that was composed by Barakat shortly before his death.
The single, "Marti W Ana" (My Wife and I), was set for release with Zein's other songs from his new album. However, he wanted to honor Barakat by putting it out there ahead of the album's release.
Barakat was also supposed to compose the music for a second single, titled "Albi Al Walhan" (My Heart's That Is In Love), but he sadly died before that could happen.
