The famous Lebanese musician Melhim Barakat’s appearance on the new entertainment show “Il Maestro” which is hosted by Nishan was an outstanding night. Barakat became a guest on the show “Il Maestro” for the second time this season. At the beginning of their second meeting Baraket held Nishan responsible for asking personal questions and insisting on getting answers from him about topics that he did not want to talk about.
Time passed and the co-host wanted most to put an end to Barakat and his colleague Lebanese artist Wael Kfoury dispute and he wanted both of them to make-up on air during the show. Nishan was not successful with his attempt and at the end of the episode Nishan announced that September 14th is Wael Kfoury’s birthday. On his behalf Barakat presented Kfoury with a song that he composed himself and it was written by Tawfiq Barakat. He revealed that the song is close to his heart and he considered it one of the most special songs that he composed.
According to the London daily Elaph, Nishan tried his best to make Barakat stay longer where he asked him to sing a small part of the song in order to give enough time for the show crew to call Kfoury, but Barakat understood Nishan’s game. Barakat got up and decided to leave even before the show was over with.
While Nishan was saying the name of his guest on the next episode which was the famous Iraqi artist Kathem Al Saher, the phone call finally came through. Kfoury was on the phone and he told Barakat “you are a great artist and very dear to our hearts and that he has nothing else to add”.
Nishan got nervous and Barakat did not say a word then the phone call was cut off. On the other hand, Barakat thought that Kfoury hanged up the phone on purpose; therefore, he left the show without ending the episode for the second time where there was only a minute and a half left for the show to end.
After many trials Nishan was able to make another phone call to Kfoury where he talked to Barakat and both had talked about working together on the new song which was presented to Kfoury by Barakat.
