Singer Hisham Abbas, musician Hamid Al Shaeri, and Miss Egypt, Sara Shahin, have been nominated to costar in the comedy film Al Ghardaqa Rayeh Bass (Al Ghardaqa, Going Only), according to the UAE Al Bayan daily.
The film, directed by Ahmed Al Nahhas, is about the trials of several young tourism industry workers who decide to travel to Ghardaqa to find work. The employees face obstacles in the path to achieving their dreams of stability and collecting enough money to buy an apartment. One of the young men receives a marriage offer from an elderly foreign lady in exchange for the money he needs, but he falls in love with an Egyptian hostess working in the same hotel. He refuses the offer and holds true to his love.
The film includes three songs by Shaeri and Abbas, and a show in which Shahin takes part.
Pending the signing of the agreement with the film stars, Nahhas will begin shooting the first scenes at the University of Cairo and the American University of Cairo, and then move to Ghardaqa to resume shooting the rest of the scenes - Albawaba.com
