Egyptian actor Mohamed Ramadan is joining the army, but can he compete with Lebanese superstar Wael Kfoury in a military uniform?
The 28-year-old star officially submitted his papers to enrol in the Egyptian Army and posted a picture with soldiers currently in the army on Facebook.
Mohamed said that he hopes to be based in Arish, the capital of North Sinai.
If Mohamed gets accepted into the army, he will have to put all his acting projects on hold. Can Egyptian cinema cope without one of its most sought-after actors?
