Badboy Egyptian singer Mohammad Hamaki held an intimate and friendly press conference where he talked candidly with the media and organised future interviews.

This friendly little gathering was Hamaki's way of showing that he is at peace with the press and that he doesn't hold a grudge against any Egyptian media institutions.

The singer told attendees that he has "great respect" for the Egyptian press and that they play an integral role in his communication with fans.

The press conference wasn't just one big love fest between Hamaki and journos – he apologized for his lack of concerts, citing an unstable political environment in Egypt as the cause behind this.

Hamaki is clearly a clever boy – he openly told journos that he wouldn't discuss his political views, telling them that he knows that they will twist his words, regardless of what he says.

According to Middle East news portal Elaph, during the conference, which lasted for over 3 hours, Hamaki screened his new music video for "Min Qalbi Baghani" (I Sing from the Bottom of my Heart). Awww….

The hotly anticipated video will hit satellite channels next week, as the final touches to the production are being done now.

The Egyptian superstar told the press that he is planning on shooting the video for his song "Nifsi Abqa Janbuh" (I Want to Remain by Your Side), hoping that it will be ready as a treat for after Ramadan.
