Egyptian actor Mohammad Saed said that he will no longer play his popular comedic character ‘Al Limbi’, which he became famous for, describing it as a “thing of the past.”
Mohammad denied rumors that his latest films were unsuccessful, since the lowest profit garnered was 19 million Egyptian pounds.
According to the internet website MBC.net, Mohammad said that he wanted to venture into other areas of acting and to play roles that are closer to his real life character.
Mohammad said that he hopes to change direction and to work with director Shareef Arafah.
Mohammad revealed that he is currently working on a new television drama to be aired next year during the next holy month of Ramadan.The drama is written by Ahmad Abdallah and directed by Wael Ihsan.
