He'd been working tirelessly to get his new play "Kheebitna" (Our Disgrace) up and running when suddenly his health became center stage in his life. Sudden severe pain sent the star to the hospital and soon had to go under the knife for heart surgery.

According to Laha Magazine, after having the operation done and getting his strength back, Subhi left the Dar Al Fouad Hospital and was ordered by his doctors to remain home and get the needed rest. All rehearsals for the play are currently on hold until his heath has been fully restored.

Stubborn Subhi is ready to get back to the stage soon, and announced he'll be resuming work shortly to have the play ready for opening night at the Al Masrah Lal Jamee Festival. The festival will also include many other plays that will be shown like "Ghazal Al Banat", "Sami Has", "Malk Sayyam", "Carmen", and the second part of "Odeeb".

Here's a prayer for you, Subhi, that we'll see you when the curtains open at the festival!
