Guess who's heading to the Jordanian capital on Thursday (June 11)? The Arab world's fave celebrity Mohammed Assaf is performing at the beautiful historic Roman amphitheater in Amman, in celebration of Jordan's 69th Independence Day, reported Levant.tv.
Last month, the 25-year-old dedicated a Facebook post to the patriotic occasion, writing, "I wish all lionhearted Jordanians progress and glory on their 69th Independence Day."
Thousands of the Palestinian singer's fans are expected to attend the special concert, which will display their loyalty for both their country and the Arab Idol.
As with every one of his spectacular concerts, Assaf will set the stage on fire with his biggest smash hits to date.
On Monday, Assaf was in Constantine, Algeria where he took part in a large celebration which honored the late iconic Algerian singer Warda Al-Jazairia. The unfortunate day of May 17th 2012 was the day Warda passed away from a heart attack in Egypt.
The talented singer paid a warm tribute to the unforgettable starlet by singing a selection of her most famous hits. Assaf was later honored with an award from Algerian singer Cheb Khaled, whom he gave sincere thanks to with a post on Facebook.
