Hollywood actor Morgan Freeman is in Egypt to shoot a new National Geographic documentary titled "The Story of God."
The documentary follows Freeman as he immerses himself in "religious rituals" and experiences around the world.
Ironically, Freeman played "God" in the controversial comedy film "Bruce Almighty" alongside Jim Carey and Jennifer Aniston.
The 78-year-old legend headed to the Egyptian capital following a trip to Turkey's central Konya province, where another part of the doc was being filmed, reported Hurriyet Daily News.
He's reportedly expected to visit the famous Pyramids and other iconic Egyptian sites while touring the North African country, according to Almasry Alyoum.
The press weren't allowed to take pictures of Freeman and his crew during the shooting of the documentary.
