Is it really the end?

Hard rockers Motley Crue have announced their last tour ever, and have chosen Abu Dhabi as their last overseas gig!

It's not the first time the band has announced their retirement, but this time they've put it in writing! A Cessation Of Touring Agreement and a formal announcement cemented Los Angeles as their absolutely last concert date, ever.

The original band formed in 1981 and incredibly, still features it's original line up: Nikki Sixx on bass, drummer Tommy Lee, guitarist Mick Mars and lead singer Vince Neil.

Gulf News reports that the biggest fans can head to the “Crüesnest”, to get up close and personal with the band during the grand finale of the show!

“We’re excited to add Abu Dhabi to The Final Tour schedule and finally get to perform in the Middle East. It will be a once in a lifetime opportunity for us and a special way to say goodbye to the greatest fans in rock n roll,” said Sixx in a statement.

Tickets for the Abu Dhabi show go on sale on June 16 at noon at www.ticketmaster.ae, Virgin Megastores and on 800 TM UAE (800 86 823). Tickets are Dh295 for general admission (Dh195 for early bird and Dh395 for early entry); Dh650 for golden circle (Dh750 for early entry). Tree House (either side of the stage) tickets are Dh895. Abu Dhabi Grand Prix ticketholders get a 20 per cent discount on General Admission tickets.
