Muhammad Abdoh brings Haifa Hussein to tears

Bahraini artist Haifa Hussein shocked viewers when she revealed on the show “Qamar Wa Thalth Nojoom” (3 Stars and a Moon) that she is divorcing her husband and the father of her son Saed.


According to the London daily Elaph, Haifa made the announcement about her divorce to try and prevent the press from spreading rumors.  Haifa did not state the reasons for the divorce, but she did say she thinks that it is the right thing to do.


Haifa talked the three hosts of the show - Lisa Dyoub, Reem Bo Qamrah and Omani Ibtihat Al Zidjali - about the various roles that she has played in Khaliji “Gulf Countries” television dramas.


Haifa said that she began acting by chance, but is now an ‘expert.’ 
Haifa also said that she is now better off financially and she credits director Ahmad Al Mqala for changing her life. 


On the show Haifa appeared slim and said that she is on a very strict diet.
Haifa sang “Lissa Fasker” (You Still Remember), she was a member of the Bahraini National Chorus before she became a singer.


Haifa commented that she favors the singer Nawal over Asala and Diana Haddad.


Haifa says that she likes staying at home and that she is close to her mother and her sisters.  She has few friends in the entertainment industry, said Haifa.
The song “Al Amaken” (Places) by Saudi singer Muhammad Abdoh brings Haifa to tears, she said.


She thinks Zainab Al ASkari is the number one actress among Khaliji actresses.
