In a surprise move, the administrators of the official website for renowned Saudi singer Muhammad Abduh, affectionately known as singer of the Arabs, have decided to permanently cancel the site. In addition, all video and audio material for the singer has been removed from the web and the official pages for the singer on Facebook, Twitter and YouTube have all been shot down.
A press release was posted on the official website for the singer in which the administrators wished all the members of the site a very happy Ramadan and repeatedly said that by the will of God, the site has achieved tremendous success and all the goals that were initially placed by the administrators were met but everything that has a beginning also has an end.
It was said that Muhammad Abduh has nothing to do with shutting down the website and the decision was made solely by the administrators.
No specific reasons were given regarding what led to cancel all the internet pages for the singer. The move is truly baffling considering that YouTube’s viewing statistics showed that over 17 million views were made of Abduh’s videos.
