Turkish actor Kivanc Tatlitug, known in the Arab world as Muhannad for his popular role in the Turkish drama “Nour”, has turned down an offer presented to him by Lebanese singer Nancy Ajram to star in her upcoming music video. Muhannad stressed that he has made a final decision to resign from acting in music videos and it is a choice he will not back down on.
According to the internet website MBC.net, a number of Turkish newspapers had reported that Nancy offered Muhannad to be the leading model/actor in her new music video during her recent visit to Turkey. Nancy had gone to Turkey to hold her first ever concert for the grand opening of the new shopping center Prime Mall.
Nancy’s business manager Jiji Lamara had denied news reports that Nancy had offered Muhannad to appear in her next music video and stressed that Nancy is not in favor of having famous actors star in her music videos. Jiji added that the only reason prominent Syrian actor Kusay Khouly had starred in one of Nancy’s previous videos was a request by the director Sofie Boutrus, who had insisted on having Kusay in the clip.
