Egyptian singer Mustafa Amar has recently returned to Egypt after holding a number of performances across the Arab world. Amar participated in the Dubai Nights Festival and the Muscat Festival in Oman, which marked a huge success for the singer.

According to the Egyptian weekly Nojoom, Amar is currently enjoying a taste of success after he was awarded first prize for best music video. His song “Munaiah” (My Wish) was chosen number for best shot clip using state of the art methods.

Mustafa Amar held three concerts at the Dubai Trade Center after he signed a contract with different sponsors. While in Dubai, Mustafa chose a number of areas to shoot music videos for his upcoming songs using state of the art technology.

The singer plans to keep the name of his upcoming album a secret along with its contents. To his disappointment, sources revealed that basically the same crew that had worked on his previous album "Munaiah" is the same who will be working on the new one.

Mustafa is also undergoing negotiations with a prominent singer, whose name was not revealed, to hold a duet together, which will be included in the album. The new release is set to be out in stores in the very near future.

On a different note, Mustafa had refused to take the leading role in a TV drama series, which is due to begin shooting scenes in the very near future, and the part has been offered to another singer. The singer commented that the time is not right now for him to take part in the small screen and prefers to be part of the competition for the big screen and performing concerts. – Albawaba.com
