Lebanese superstar Myriam Fares's management announced on Saturday night that her father has passed away.
The sad news came to light in a post on Instagram, which detailed that Iryal Elias Fares died after a long battle with illness.
'Myriam Music' said that Mr. Fares's body will be laid to rest on Sunday, while his family will be accepting condolences at the Saint Rita Church in Beirut on Monday and Tuesday.
Myriam is one of the top-selling artists in the Arab world - she is nicknamed 'The Queen of Stage.'
The popular artist is married to businessman Dani Mitri and they have a son, Jayden, together.
