Prominent Egyptian actress Nabila Obeid has reached an agreement with director Khaled Al Hajjar to begin filming the scenes for her upcoming film “Ma Feesh Ghair Kidda” (Nothing Besides This) after the Muslim Holiday Eid Al Adha.
Obeid has nominated young Egyptian actors Hanan Turk, Ahmad Azmi, and Khaled Abu El Naja to play the roles of her children.
The film revolves around a mother who dreams that her children will become famous singers, and Nabila and her children perform a song written especially for them by Kawthar Haikal.
Nabila has suddenly withdrawn from the joint Egyptian-Kuwaiti drama, “Lilbai’ lidawa’e El Safar” (For Sale Due to Travel). The drama, which was scheduled to be aired during the month of Ramadan, is written by Mohammad Yousef and directed by Khaled Al Mufaidi.
Nabila withdrew once she realized that the drama would not be ready in time to be screened during Ramadan, since all films to be shown during the holy month had to be submitted by the end of August.
