Renowned Egyptian actress Najla Fathi has received a very generous offer from one of the Arab satellite television channels to record episodes of her life’s journey for a new program called “Ihki Ya Shahrazad” (Talk Shahrazad). If Najla is to accept the offer thirty episodes will be filmed and aired during the upcoming month of Ramadan.
Despite the fact that the offer Najla received is around 5 million Egyptian pounds, the actress is still very hesitant about selling her biography. Najla had repeatedly received offers to buy her life story, but had always turned them down considering the a matter a very personal one.
Najla was recently forced to go to the police station in order to file a complaint against her next door neighbor. The actress accused her neighbor, who is a doctor, of deliberately parking his car right behind hers making it impossible for her to move.
Najla stressed that he acts this way only to cause her discomfort and would not stop when she had requested him to several times. Najla noted that she does not usually file complaints about her neighbors, but the doctor’s actions gave her no other alternative.
Najla had regained her physical strength after a heart surgery she underwent in France. Fathi began looking through a number of scripts she has received in order to face the camera once more after an absence that has lasted for many years. The actress is keen on choosing the right offer which will adds to her long history of success and is up to her standards.
