Lebanese singer Najwa Karam recently released her latest music video for the song “Law Bas Ta’raf” (If you only knew), which she filmed in Lebanon under the direction of director Waleed Naseef in their second cooperation together. The first song Najwa worked with Waleed on was “Ma Fi Noum” and she received negative criticism over due to the fact that it presented a new style to Najwa’s singing different from what her fans were accustomed to.
According to the London based Elaph, in the new clip, Waleed brought Najwa out of the advanced technology presented in the first clip and presented her in a romantic atmosphere concentrating on the different fashioned designed especially for her by prominent Lebanese designer Zuhair Murad. In the song Najwa breaks free from her traditional style of singing Lebanese folk song to that of romance.
Waleed stated that the clip was a very daring one and required great effort on the part of the singer.
