Prominent Lebanese singer Najwa Karam has recently finished filming two songs combined in one in the form of video clip directed by Sa'eed Marook. The clip starts with the song “Bahwak” and then the song “Sho Meghayara” portraying the theme of everyday life on earth with people living a routine life between work and social life.

Najwa performs the role of an alien who comes to earth and spreads joy and happiness everywhere she goes with her songs. According to London based Elaph the overall cost of the clip exceeded 200 thousand US dollars because of all of the graphics and stunts, which were done in Paris.

Rotana will exclusively air the clip in the upcoming few days within its program “Awal Marra]. Karam traveled to Sweden to hold a concert and then she is to head off to Denmark to hold another concert to the Arab community in the Scandinavian countries. Upon her return from Europe, Najwa will see the clip after the montage process with director Sa'eed Marook to give it her approval.

The singer has already filmed one song in the form of a video clip under the direction of Saeed Al Marouq, stressing that she has realized that the only way to have her songs be heard and reach people’s hearts is by filming them.

The singer added that the competition in the music industry has become so fierce with the rise of new singers and in order to stay on tract a singer must stay up to date with his/her audience and attract their attention with new music videos.

Najwa’s first clip was composed by Wisam Almeer, and tackles the economical and social conditions in Lebanon. The Lebanese Public Security department, which had forbidden the airing of the video, had backed off its decision and allowed the clip to go on air, but with some deletion.

It was revealed that one of the main reasons the video was banned is because it featured actual events like protests, which was thought to be too provoking. Public security officials requested that the clip be altered by the director in order to obtain permission for broadcasting.

Karam had released her latest album "Leah Imghair" (Why are you Changed) in June, under the production of Rotana. –Albawaba.com
