Ever since the day Lebanese singer Najwa Karam entered the entertainment business, her two brothers Tony and Nicola were pulled in as well, but not as singers rather as her business managers. In a private interview held with Tony, he revealed to the Arab magazines Sayidaty two hidden secrets that he has been keeping for some time.
The first confession that Tony made was regarding the marital status of his sister Najwa. Tony admitted that the previous rumors of Najwa's divorce are in fact true and she has been separated from her husband,Yousef Harb, for the past nine months.
Tony also revealed that he owns a beautiful voice one that would have made a successful singer out of him, but he decided not to bring it out wanting to concentrate on his sister's success.
Last year in October, Najwa denied rumors circulating about her separation from her husband Yousef Harb. She had expressed her disturbance towards the rumors that were affecting her personal life saying that not allow anyone interfere in her personal life. She had expressed that she was happy with her life with Yousef and what was reported was an attempt to harm her image and happy marriage.
Two years ago, Najwa had surprised her family and fans with her marriage to Harb, a successful businessman younger than her by several years, living in Canada at that time. Harb is well known for organizing musical concerts in the US and Canada, for the big names in the Arabic music world, including George Wassuf, Kazem Al Saher, Najwa Karam as well as others.
Karam made her debut in the music world in 1985, with her participation in “Layali Lobnan” (Nights of Lebanon) performing Asmahan’s song “Layali Al Ons” (Nights of Pleasure). She was awarded the program’s Golden Medal for her outstanding performance at the event. – Albawaba.com
