It's no secret that Egyptian actress Nadia al Jundi kicked off her career with risque roles that involved a lot of suggestive sexual and kissing scenes; so why has the Kuwaiti Ministry of Information prosecuted Kuwaiti TV presenter May al Aydan for calling Nadia a "sex expert"?
May made the "inappropriate" reference on Wafaa al Kilani's talk show "Al Hukum" (The Judgment), where she was quoted as saying, "Everyone, look at sex books (where you will find Nadia) as actress Nadia Al Jundi will surely teach you how sex scenes are properly done; she is an expert." We cann that "sexpert"!
May, however, didn't stop there, as her hunger for verbally attacking the apparently "sex-loving" actress continued on her own show "Na'saf Li Adam al Iza'aj" (Sorry For Not Disturbing)!
But the Kuwaiti Ministry of Information was having none of it! According to Al Jaras magazine, the Ministry prosecuted the "unethical" journalist for violating the laws of journalism by suspending her show for 30 days and taking her case to court.
In the past, Nadia justified playing daring film roles by saying that they were "appropriate for the characters she was channeling."
