Arabia's sweetheart songstress flew over the Mediterranean for a flavorful and fun birthday weekend. Nancy Ajram turned 32 on Saturday and celebrated the special day Italian style with a trip to Rome.
Nancy and her husband Fadi Hashem drank in the romantic ambiance of the capital city, and the songstress was gracious enough to share the lovely views of her sightseeing adventures with her fans on social media.
The Arab Idol judge announced her arrival in the country on the 14th with a picture of herself in casual apparel, standing in front of a statue with the news, "Landed in Rome, birthday vacation!"
Before she partook of Italy's palate-tempting pastries, the perfectly figured performer took time to detox with a healthy green drink, and asked the opinion of her fans with, "What do u think of our detox??? :-) cheers from #Rome."
The next day, she moved on to the naughty good stuff with a morning meal that still has our mouths watering. "My kind of breakfast," she divulged with the picture of donuts, croissants, pie, and other divine deliciousness.
Powered by a morning sugar rush, Nancy and Fadi did some serious sight seeing around the city on Friday. Snuggling up next to her husband on the Spanish steps, she shared a pic of the two lovers with this caption, "And this is my kind of man... #Rome #romance."
Nancy clearly loved her four-day European party with the hubs, but all good things must come to an end. Saying "arrividerci" (goodbye) to Rome this morning, the starlet shared this somber post about the bustling city's stark contrast to her hometown, which has experienced a severe decline in tourism over security issues.
"Goodbye crowded #Rome, Will we ever see #Lebanon full of tourists again???"
Despite her last post in Italy being on the sad side, let's hope her getaway left her more cheered than demoralized, and that we'll soon benefit from the fresh perspective provided by a change of location and dose of romance with her lover boy. Could a new Italian love song be on the horizon? Three cheers to that dream and to the one year older birthday girl!
