ALBAWABA - Amid causing outrage for shaking hands and meeting with Israeli blogger Itzik Blass, Nancy Ajram took to her official X account (formerly Twitter) to pray for the people residing in Southern Lebanon.

The photo in question which caused an outrage among pro-Palestine activists and Arabs was taken in Cyprus on Monday, Feb. 19, 2024. Itzik Blass who has 200,000 followers on Instagram said in Hebrew " “Nancy Ajram, the queen of Arabic music, thank you for the amazing show”.

Their photo together was also shared among Israeli media which added salt to the wound as Israeli journalist Roi Kayes took to X and wrote "Nancy Ajram and the Israelis are in endless romantic parties”.

The praying was not met with positive comments as X users took to the comment section and wrote in Arabic:

A user wrote, "Can you explain this then?" as they attached a picture of her and the Israeli blogger.

"Shame, Shame, a person who lost her soul for money and fame".

"You're such a hypocrite".

"Tomorrow she will make a dumb post saying that she didn't where he's from".

The Lebanese singer who's been vocal about the Lebanese resistance through patriotic songs and social media has not responded to the controversial picture. The reason pro-Palestine activists and Arabs are mad with the singer, is because of her "hypocrisy" since Israel is also bombing Southern Lebanon and Palestine.

By the time of writing this article, the ongoing Israeli aggression on Gaza resulted in the killing of 29,092 Palestinians of whom are at least 12,000 children and 8,000 women.
